Jersey Shore Students Earn Top College Honors

Six students from New Jersey's shore communities are proving that dedication pays off, earning college degrees and academic honors this month.

Jack Ross Fogel of Manasquan completed his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. His graduation marks the culmination of years of coursework in one of today's most in-demand fields.

Four more shore area students crossed the finish line at the University of Georgia. Carolyn Scenna and Jessica Hagerman, both from Manasquan, graduated alongside James McCarthy of Spring Lake and Kendal McGowan of Brielle.

Meanwhile, Michael Mercurio of Sea Girt earned recognition on Southern New Hampshire University's 2026 President's List. The prestigious honor recognizes students who achieve exceptional academic performance while balancing coursework and campus life.
