Volleyball came to one of America's most iconic ballparks Sunday night, and the result was pure magic.

No. 3 Kentucky defeated No. 13 Penn State 3-1 at Wrigley Field in Chicago, making history as the first collegiate volleyball teams to compete at the 110-year-old stadium. The match drew fans to the legendary baseball venue for an entirely new kind of athletic showdown.

Playing outdoors brought unexpected challenges. Both teams adjusted to 11 mph winds blowing off nearby Lake Michigan, turning routine plays into adventures. The opening set alone saw 10 ties and four lead changes, with errors dominating early play as athletes found their rhythm in the unusual conditions.
