Lake Tahoe's Electric Transportation Forum Returns Aug 20

That's exactly what attendees will enjoy at the fourth annual Lake Tahoe Electric Transportation Forum on August 20 at the Tahoe Blue Event Center in Stateline, Nevada. The daylong event runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., bringing together transportation pioneers, environmental leaders, and anyone curious about clean technology.

Heather Chirtea of Relentless Ascent will demonstrate personal electric aviation with her flying car and deliver a keynote address exploring transportation's future. Arc Boats will offer evening cruises on Lake Tahoe aboard electric boats, giving participants hands-on experience with emerging marine technology.

Major electric vehicle manufacturers including Rivian, Tesla, and Audi will showcase their latest offerings. The forum also welcomes transportation professionals, academics, and environmental stewardship leaders for collaborative discussions about improving air and water quality in the Lake Tahoe Basin.

Kevin McGehee created the forum out of love for the alpine lake he visited as a child. "I created this Forum out of a love for Lake Tahoe and a desire to help preserve what makes this place so special for future generations," McGehee said.
