Man City Players Refund 374 Fans After Arctic Defeat

But instead of moving on from the embarrassing defeat, four of City's biggest stars stepped up. Bernardo Silva, Ruben Dias, Rodri, and Erling Haaland announced they would personally refund every traveling supporter's ticket, totaling $18,580.

"Our supporters mean everything to us," the players said in a joint statement. "It was a lot of travelling for the fans who supported us in the freezing cold throughout a difficult evening for us on the pitch."

Each fan paid about $49 for their ticket. While that might seem modest, the gesture carries weight far beyond the dollar amount.
