Morocco Trains 1,500 Ivorians in 20-Year Skills Partnership

Jean-Louis Moulot, Ivory Coast's Minister Delegate for Technical Education, praised Morocco's approach during his visit to the City of Crafts and Skills in Casablanca. The country's vocational programs blend classroom learning with hands-on practice, creating graduates who match what employers actually need.

Morocco's investment in Ivory Coast goes beyond sending students home with certificates. In 2017, the countries opened the Mohammed VI Multisector Vocational Training Center in Abidjan, a flagship campus teaching skills in hospitality, construction, and tourism.

Loubna Tricha, who leads Morocco's Office of Vocational Training and Work Promotion, emphasized that this isn't a one-off project. The partnership has grown through agreements signed in 2001, 2013, and 2015, with commitments running through 2025.
