NASA's Curiosity Rover Finds Strange New Mars Features

NASA's Curiosity rover just stumbled upon something completely new after 14 years exploring Mars. While scanning Mount Sharp, the veteran robot discovered broad, shallow pits scattered across the Martian bedrock that have scientists genuinely excited.

These aren't your typical Mars surface features. Deputy principal investigator Michelle Minitti called them "features unlike quite anything we have seen in the past."
