Nashville Gets New Healthcare Tech Hub Creating Jobs

A healthcare technology company is planting roots in Nashville to solve one of medicine's most frustrating problems: systems that don't talk to each other.

Hopper Healthcare announced it's opening a new Tennessee office this October, joining more than 900 healthcare companies already transforming how Americans receive care. The company built hopperOS, a platform that connects the disconnected pieces of hospital technology so doctors, nurses, and staff can actually focus on patients instead of wrestling with computers.

"Healthcare does not need more technology that operates in isolation," said Chris Martinez, Hopper Healthcare's CEO. "It needs technology that connects the organization, is secure, is integrated, and produces measurable results."

The problem Hopper tackles is bigger than most patients realize. When hospitals use dozens of different software systems that can't share information, doctors waste time hunting for test results, nurses duplicate paperwork, and patients repeat their medical history at every appointment. Hopper's system unifies all that data so everyone sees the same complete picture.

Nashville made perfect sense for expansion. The city brings together hospital operators, doctors, tech developers, and entrepreneurs all working on healthcare's toughest challenges. By setting up shop at 501 Corporate Centre Drive in Franklin, Hopper can collaborate directly with the people living these problems every day.

The company already supports more than two million lives across 33 states and 16 countries, including 60-plus hospitals and health systems. This new office joins existing locations in Phoenix, Fort Lauderdale, London, Australia, and Amsterdam.
