Vietnam stands at the center of this positive shift. The country already ranks as the world's second-largest coffee producer and now hosts two of Southeast Asia's biggest coffee chains.

Highlands Coffee, controlled by Jollibee Foods Corporation, operates 928 outlets across the region as of 2025. Milano Coffee has also grown into a major regional player, proving Vietnamese companies can compete on the world stage.

The timing couldn't be better. Just weeks ago, the United Nations adopted a resolution designating an International Coffee Day, with Vietnam playing a key role in making it happen. The country worked alongside international partners to strengthen global cooperation for sustainable coffee development.

Vietnamese businesses are already expanding their reach. At India's 40th International Food and Hospitality Fair, three large Vietnamese booths showcased coffee and processed food products to tap into one of the world's fastest-growing markets.
