New Hourly High-Speed Trains to Link Paris and Amsterdam
European travel is about to become smoother and far more affordable for millions of passengers. Dutch startup Heurotrain has secured key railway rights to launch frequent, accessible high-speed service connecting Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam.
Traveling across Europe's iconic capitals will soon become simpler, greener, and far lighter on your wallet. A brand new cross-border rail option is preparing to hit the tracks, giving everyday passengers unprecedented flexibility between three bustling cultural hubs.
Dutch startup Heurotrain just reached a critical turning point by securing a 10-year framework agreement with French network operator SNCF Réseau. This strategic breakthrough guarantees access to key tracks between Paris and the Belgian border, unlocking one of the continent's busiest and most vital transport corridors.
Beginning in late 2030, the ambitious company plans to roll out high-speed passenger trains linking Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam. Instead of dealing with packed schedules and sparse availability, travelers will enjoy 16 daily return services running roughly once every hour.
Current routes between Paris and Amsterdam offer around 10 daily return trains, which can leave passengers scrambling for seats during peak periods. Heurotrain plans to change that dynamic completely by introducing steady competition that keeps ticket prices affordable, even for spontaneous last-minute getaways.

Passengers can expect swift journeys taking approximately three and a half hours between Paris and Amsterdam, whisking them straight from one vibrant city center to another. Having already secured 125 million euros in seed funding, the team is actively expanding partnerships to deliver sleek, state-of-the-art trains tailored for modern comfort.
Heurotrain represents an exciting renaissance for international passenger rail as innovative operators step up to meet booming demand for sustainable transit. Alongside planned new night trains across the region, these extra departures prove that green travel is rapidly expanding to fit everyday lifestyles.
The Bright Side
Every new train added to these historic rails represents a massive collective win for sustainable travel across borders. By driving ticket prices down and boosting daily frequency, high-speed rail makes eco-friendly choices the easiest and most enjoyable way to explore the world.
The future of European travel is looking brighter, faster, and more welcoming than ever.
