NFL Star Aaron Rodgers Reunites With Family After 10 Years

NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers has reunited with his family after 10 years of estrangement, and new photos show the healing that's taken place. In April, the 42-year-old Pittsburgh Steelers player celebrated his induction into Pleasant Valley High School's athletics hall of fame alongside his parents, Ed and Darla Rodgers.

"Aaron was chatting and sitting with his parents, they looked like they were having a great time," photographer Wyatt Acker told PEOPLE. The event in Chico, California brought together former teammates, coaches, and most importantly, family.

During his speech at the banquet, Rodgers expressed appreciation for his hometown, players, and coaches. He also donated to the school's Sports Boosters program, which supports after-school sporting needs for students.

The reconciliation became even more public this week when Rodgers shared Instagram photos labeled "bonding time" with his family during the offseason. The images show him hugging his mom, smiling with his dad, and relaxing with his older brother Luke. One particularly sweet photo captures Uncle Aaron walking alongside what appears to be his niece and another child.
