NH Casino Donates $2.7M to Charities, Breaks Own Record

A casino in Nashua, New Hampshire is proving that gaming can be a force for good, presenting a jaw-dropping $2.7 million check to 14 local nonprofits this week.

The Nash Casino broke its own state record set just one month earlier when it donated $2.4 million to charities. That's two consecutive months of record-breaking generosity from a single business.

The money came from gaming revenue collected during July, including historical horse racing machines, video lottery terminals, and other games of chance. On Tuesday, representatives from organizations like the Nashua Regional Cancer Center, Girls Inc. of NH, and the Loudon Firefighters Association will gather at the casino to receive their shares.

The Nash operates under New Hampshire's unique charity casino model, which requires a portion of all gaming revenue to go directly to local nonprofits through rotating five to ten-day cycles. It's a setup that turns every bet into a potential donation.

Since opening its doors on March 5, 2025, The Nash has generated $31.1 million for New Hampshire nonprofits in just 17 months. The past five months alone brought in $12.1 million, with each month contributing over $2.2 million consecutively.

Fourteen organizations will benefit from this month's donation, supporting causes from youth football programs to cancer treatment to historical preservation. Each dollar earned at the gaming tables flows back into the community, funding programs that might otherwise struggle for resources.
