Gombe State signed a landmark agreement with New Zealand's Livestock Innovation Corporation (LIC) after Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya led a delegation to visit LIC's advanced facilities in Hamilton. The partnership will bring data-driven herd management systems, climate-smart production practices, and potentially superior genetics from New Zealand dairy and beef breeds to Nigerian farmers.

Founded in 1909, LIC has over a century of expertise in agricultural technology and serves dairy farmers worldwide with advanced genetics and herd management software.
