The children were displaced after their longtime home, Magnificient Therapy Services in Yaba, was evicted following a tenancy dispute. For 16 years, the center had been a safe haven for kids living with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, dyslexia, and other developmental conditions.

The actress's call to action is already showing results. Concerned neighbors quickly opened their homes to provide temporary shelter for some of the displaced children. Others were moved to an uncompleted building while parents scrambled to find solutions.
