Governance improvements will ensure transparency and accountability at every level. Risk management and campus safety measures will be woven into all planning and decisions, protecting the university's reputation and long-term stability.

The timing couldn't be better. The university praised outgoing Vice-Chancellor Prof. Abayomi Fasina for five years of growth in academic programs, research visibility, and infrastructure. Incoming Vice-Chancellor Prof. Joshua Ogunwole takes over next month through what officials called a "seamless, transparent and credible" appointment process.
