Nigeria's young soccer stars are heading to the final round of World Cup qualification after a strong 2-1 victory over Senegal on Saturday.

Kindness Ifeanyi opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a header off a corner kick, her second goal in as many games. Just a week earlier, she had netted the only goal in the first leg match in Abeokuta, Nigeria, using the exact same technique.

Precious Oscar doubled Nigeria's lead in the second half, also converting from a corner kick by defender Tumininu Adeshina. While Senegal managed a consolation goal with 15 minutes remaining, the Falconets never let their opponents back into the match.

The team will now prepare for their final qualifying match against Malawi, who advanced after beating Guinea Bissau. Only four African teams will earn spots at the global tournament, making this final round crucial for both nations.
