Norway's Scatec Plans Wind Factory in Egypt

Egypt is getting a major boost in its journey toward clean energy as Norway's Scatec announces plans to build a wind turbine manufacturing facility and a solar-powered desalination plant in the country.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met with Scatec CEO Terje Pilskog on Wednesday to discuss the expansion. The move marks a significant step in localizing renewable energy production while creating jobs and building Egypt's industrial capacity.
