"We've made up, he's happy about the fact that we discussed it," Collins told The Sunday Times. "And I'm happy we discussed it, so it was just really lovely that it's gone full circle now."

The reconciliation comes during a particularly meaningful time for Collins. The 75-year-old former Genesis frontman recently recovered from a life-threatening health crisis that landed him in intensive care for seven months after he resumed drinking following years of sobriety.

His five children were called to say their goodbyes as his organs began failing in November 2023. Collins has no memory of those visits but credits his recovery to luck and has maintained sobriety since leaving the hospital.
