Pitcher Jacob Misiorowski Throws Record 57 Pitches Over 100 MPH

Jacob Misiorowski brought unprecedented heat to the baseball diamond Monday night, and the record books will never be the same.

The Milwaukee Brewers pitcher threw an astounding 57 pitches over 100 mph during a 5-1 victory against the St. Louis Cardinals, shattering the MLB record for fastest pitches in a single game since tracking began in 2008. His response to the historic feat was refreshingly humble: "That's what I do. I throw hard."

The numbers tell an incredible story. Misiorowski reached 101 mph on 40 of his 96 pitches. Twenty-two clocked in at 102 mph, and nine reached at least 103 mph, with his top speed hitting 103.4 mph three times.

His first six pitches of the night all exceeded 103 mph. When asked about it, the 24-year-old simply said, "I feel like that's how it should be every day."
