The International Friendship Club offers even broader options. Founded by the expat community, the IFC supports everything from medical assistance to educational programs, creating spaces where social connection meets community service.

Environmental action has its own following through Limpia Tu Mar Puerto Vallarta, a civic group founded in 2022. Their annual Litter Fishing Tournament draws participants to Banderas Bay with a goal of removing at least 1 ton of waste from the ocean, but year-round beach cleanups welcome anyone ready to roll up their sleeves.
