Rugby Star Teagan Levi Returns Home to Play for Titans

After representing Australia on the world stage for six years, rugby sevens star Teagan Levi is coming home to try something new.

The Gold Coast native has signed with the Titans for the upcoming 2026 NRLW season, marking her third professional sport after stints in both AFLW and rugby sevens. Levi will join the team once she completes her current Rugby Australia commitments.

"I want to test myself and keep growing as a person and a player, and this opportunity allows me to step out of my comfort zone," Levi said. Making the switch to league has been on her mind for years, but she waited until she could give it her full commitment.

The former Miami State High School student started her professional career with the Gold Coast Suns in the AFLW before transitioning to rugby sevens. Along with her sister Maddison, she's become one of the most recognizable faces in Australia's rugby sevens program.

Titans coach Karyn Murphy called the signing "a huge coup" for the club. Having a player with Levi's big-game experience and exposure to high-performance environments will be invaluable for the team's 2026 campaign.
