The Unite Here Local 11 union reached a tentative agreement Monday night with Legends Hospitality, the company managing food services at the Los Angeles venue. The deal comes after workers voted 96% in favor of authorizing a strike last week, with their first World Cup match scheduled for June 12.

The workers, including cooks, dishwashers, bartenders and concession staff, had been working without a contract for an entire year. They pushed for better pay, protection against job outsourcing, and safety guarantees during the tournament.
