Springfield's Earth Day Festival Raises Funds for Homeless

Springfield is turning Earth Day into a weekend-long party that gives back to those who need it most.

Unity of Springfield will host its 9th Annual Planet Unity Earth Day Celebration on April 17th and 18th, offering free admission to everyone who wants to join the festivities. The event kicks off Friday evening at 6 PM at 2214 East Seminole in Springfield.

Attendees can enjoy live music performances, local food vendors, beer and wine, hands-on activities, and raffles throughout the two-day event. The celebration combines environmental awareness with community spirit, creating a space where neighbors can connect while supporting an important cause.

What makes this year's celebration even more meaningful is its partnership with Eden Village. A portion of all proceeds will go directly to the organization's mission of assisting chronically homeless and disabled community members.
