A complete stranger just proved that Midwest Nice isn't just a saying by lending his truck to three stranded musicians he'd never met before.

The Autumn Kings, a Detroit-based heavy metal trio, had just wrapped up their set at Rock Fest Wisconsin in Chippewa Valley when disaster struck. Their van died on a rural highway with their next gig at Michigan's Upheaval Festival just ten hours away and 500 miles of road between them.
