Dr. Cahill spent years as a family physician, prison doctor, and school physician for Malone Central Schools. His wife Carla worked at Alice Hyde Medical Center from age 18, eventually becoming a registered nurse.
The Hon. Robert G. Main, Sr. and Jr. Legal Scholarship recognizes two generations of judges who shaped New York's Fourth Judicial District. Judge Main, Sr. served 28 years on the Supreme Court, while his son spent 34 years as Franklin County judge and surrogate before retiring in 2021.
