UK's Medicine Festival Draws 10,000 for Music and Nature

Thousands of festival-goers are trading crowded mosh pits for yoga circles and spiritual ceremonies at a new kind of music event. The Medicine Festival in Berkshire, UK, just wrapped its sixth year of bringing music, nature worship, and traditional ceremonies together in one uplifting experience.

"What I like about Medicine is the sharing of wisdoms," says Ayla from the Netherlands, attending for the first time. "I hope I get out of here inspired, rested and motivated as well."

"We see ourselves as part of nature," explains Joshua Dugdale, who co-founded the festival. "We promote the medicine of dance, the medicine of music, the medicine of community, but also seeing people who have maybe a different world view and engaging with that."

The festival calls itself a "sacred festival" where attendees explore new skills and different ways of seeing the world. Beyond personal growth, participants gather for environmental activism and discussions about protecting the planet.
