Verona 10U Team Wins 4th Championship in 4 Seasons

The Verona 10U Maroon Barnstormers proved that teamwork and dedication pay off when they captured their fourth league championship on June 7, marking their third consecutive title since the team formed in fall 2023.

Pitcher Bobby Esposito delivered a masterclass performance against the South Orange Maplewood Cougars, throwing a complete game shutout with 12 strikeouts. The 4-0 victory at Liberty Field capped off an impressive 9-2 spring season for the young athletes.

The game showcased standout moments that had parents cheering from the stands. Rory Desai made a spectacular catch in right field, Sebastian Cruz launched a two-run homer, and Miller Dobies showed fearless baserunning by stealing home.
