Vietnam's Gia Lai Hosts Innovation Conference for Tech Leaders

The same week as Gia Lai's conference, the country raised its rooftop solar sales cap to 50 percent and widened direct power deals, showing how renewable energy and battery storage are becoming central to the national grid.

Ho Chi Minh City simultaneously hosted four international exhibitions showcasing electrical technology, green energy, and food processing innovations. These gatherings are strengthening Vietnam's position as a regional leader in sustainable technology adoption.

The innovation ecosystem is bridging gaps between government, researchers, and businesses in ways that seemed impossible just years ago. Huế and other cities are building similar networks to ensure technology benefits reach communities nationwide.

Vietnam's bilateral cooperation is also expanding. Trade with Cambodia surpassed $11.3 billion in 2025, with both countries promoting cross-border e-commerce to reach a $20 billion target.
