Instead of celebrating and coasting, Vontier immediately raised the bar. The company now aims to cut emissions by 65% before the decade ends.

The wins didn't stop at carbon. Vontier also hit its 2030 waste reduction goal early, diverting 91% of manufacturing waste from landfills. These efficiency improvements saved the company $8.4 million in operational costs, proving sustainability and smart business go hand in hand.

Mark Morelli, Vontier's CEO, credits innovation and accountability for the breakthrough. The company sits at the intersection of mobility and technology, helping gas stations, fleet operators, and auto repair shops navigate the shift to cleaner energy.

The results came from hundreds of small improvements across the company. At Vontier's largest factory in Greensboro, North Carolina, one maintenance worker installed timers on 50 exhaust fans so they only run when people are working. Simple ideas like this added up to massive impact.

The Ripple Effect

Vontier's climate wins are creating waves far beyond its own operations. The company's Driivz platform now powers electric vehicle charging in 36 countries, supporting 3 million charging points and 6 million drivers.

In 2025 alone, that platform helped avoid over 1 million metric tonnes of CO2 emissions and supported 6.7 billion kilometers of electric driving. When convenience store chain Sheetz integrated Driivz across 125 charging stations, customers could link charging directly to loyalty rewards and real-time tracking.

Vontier also completed the world's first full lifecycle assessment of a fuel dispenser, identifying ways to help customers dramatically reduce their own emissions. Their ANGI Energy division delivers compressed natural gas solutions that cut fleet fuel costs by up to 80% while shrinking carbon footprints.

The company's safety record matched its environmental achievements. Total recordable incidents dropped 67% from 2022 levels, and every global manufacturing site now holds ISO 45001 safety certification.
