Webb Telescope Captures Spiral Galaxy 45M Light-Years Away

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope has captured a stunning new image that lets us peer 45 million light-years into space with remarkable clarity.

The latest photo features Messier 77, a spiral galaxy located in the Cetus constellation. Thanks to Webb's advanced infrared technology, scientists can now see the galaxy's swirling "tentacles" more clearly than ever before, which is why it's earned the nickname "Squid Galaxy."
