Who Is Hussain Volunteers Help 400+ People Across 8 Nations

Volunteers from the international charity Who Is Hussain are turning compassion into action across eight countries, from Paris blood drives to orphanage visits in Uganda. Their recent humanitarian push has directly helped more than 400 people in need.

The organization, inspired by the 7th-century figure Imam Hussein's teachings on service and sacrifice, now operates through 60 branches worldwide. Their work spans continents with one simple mission: help people regardless of who they are or where they come from.

In Paris, 46 people rolled up their sleeves for the charity's 14th blood donation campaign, including 23 first-time donors. Those donations alone will help save 138 patients' lives, according to France's national blood service.

The London team distributed 136 hot meals to people experiencing hardship as part of their weekly food program. In Hyderabad, India, volunteers served 100 hot meals to families waiting outside a cancer hospital, offering comfort during difficult times.

Blood donation campaigns in Mumbai collected 37 units, supporting treatment for roughly 111 patients. Meanwhile in Michigan, volunteers expanded their reach with blood drives, food distribution, and backpack drives for students from struggling families.

Educational support is creating ripples too. French volunteers have spent nearly a month teaching children basic reading and math at a social support center, providing breakfast before each lesson. In Uganda, the team organized games and donated stationery to 60 orphaned girls at the Bilal Girls' Orphanage.

Even small gestures add up. Volunteers established free drinking water stations in Alipur, India, for anyone passing by. In Bengaluru, they launched their fourth annual "Hope Vehicle" campaign, displaying messages of justice and compassion on auto-rickshaws throughout the city.

What started as inspiration from historical teachings has become a modern network of everyday heroes. Each blood donation saves up to three lives. Every hot meal offers dignity. Educational support opens doors that might otherwise stay closed.
