Woman Surprises Boyfriend with Wedding in 2 Days at Concert

Kim Grimaldo from Texas entered a radio contest to win Bruno Mars concert tickets with a romantic twist. The prize included getting married at the show, and she didn't mention it to her boyfriend Javier before applying.

When iHeartRadio host Billy the Kidd announced Kim as the winner, she realized she had skipped a pretty important step. "I better tell him first," she said on air.

Kim called Javier at work on Thursday, April 16, just two days before the Saturday concert. "I basically entered us into this contest to potentially get married before the Bruno Mars concert," she told him on the morning show. "Would you still be down to get married?"

Billy the Kidd jumped in with a reality check. "She's literally proposing to you right now," he told the stunned boyfriend.

Javier's response? "Yes, dude!" He followed up with words that melted hearts across the airwaves. "Six months into our relationship, I was like, 'I'm sure I'm going to marry this girl,'" he shared. "I hope we have many years to come. I want to grow old with you, and I want to travel the world with you."

The couple had just 48 hours to prepare for their big day. Billy the Kidd, who officiated the ceremony, said hundreds of couples had entered the contest for The Romantic Tour stop at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. He picked Kim after reading through the love stories submitted.
