Zendaya Buys Wedding Dress for Surprised NYC Bride

Imagine trying on wedding dresses and having Zendaya walk through the door to help you pick one out, then buy it for you.

That's exactly what happened to Alexandra Warren and KB White at Mark Ingram Bridal Gown Atelier in New York City this past February. The couple, who both work as public interest lawyers at the same nonprofit where they met, had responded to an open casting call for a "special wedding dress opportunity" tied to Zendaya's new film, The Drama.

They had no idea what they were walking into. When they arrived at their appointment, celebrity stylist Law Roach was there to help Warren find her perfect dress. Then Zendaya herself showed up to surprise the couple and purchase whatever gown Warren chose.

"We were completely surprised," White told People magazine. "We are still in disbelief at their generosity."

Warren shared her excitement on Instagram, writing: "Sparkliest week of my life! KB and I exchanged rings (!) and then zendaya bought my wedding dress (????) (!!) I am so lucky to have had an experience like this … out of this world."

The bride-to-be, who has long admired Roach's styling work, was floating on cloud nine. "I felt like I was floating! I wish I had three hours to discuss style with him," she told People.
