Rowan Upsets Undefeated #1 Virginia Wesleyan 3-2
Eighth-seeded Rowan University pulled off one of the biggest upsets in NCAA Division III softball, defeating previously unbeaten and top-ranked Virginia Wesleyan 3-2 in the championship opener. All-American pitcher Emily McCutcheon kept the Marlins hitless through five innings to secure the historic victory.
