Fifth Grader Reaches State Finals in Louisiana Student Awards
Akshay Parasuraman, a fifth grader from St. Rose Elementary, has advanced to the state finals of Louisiana's Students of the Year Program through dedication, community service, and a passion for helping animals. He dreams of becoming an animal scientist to protect creatures affected by human activity.
