Art Center Opens Free Summer Camp Scholarships for Kids

Families across Northern Kentucky just got a chance to give their kids an unforgettable summer without worrying about the cost.

Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center has opened applications for free summer camp scholarships covering the entire 2026 season. Parents can apply to send their children to any camp at the center, with one free week-long camp awarded per child.

Kids can explore their creativity through camps in drawing, natural art, engineering, and cooking. The variety means every child can find something that sparks their curiosity, whether they dream of becoming an artist or an inventor.

The application deadline is April 15, giving families about three weeks to apply. Families with multiple children can receive up to two free camps total, making sure siblings don't miss out on the fun.

There's just a $25 commitment fee if a scholarship is awarded. This small amount helps ensure families stay committed while keeping camps accessible to those who need support most.
