Bermuda Golf Group Raises $26,500 for Kids With Challenges

A casual golf group in Bermuda just handed over $26,500 to families who need it most.

The Tuckers Point Golfers, affectionately known as the "Hackers," presented their latest donation to the Committee of 25, one of Bermuda's oldest charities supporting children with medical, developmental, or physical challenges. The group has been raising funds for the organization since 2018 through a simple but powerful method: weekly contributions before their golf games and proceeds from their annual Christmas raffle.

Rod Holloway, the lead "Hacker," formally presented the check to Jackie MacLellan, Vice-Chair of the Committee of 25. The donation will help families access essential medical equipment, overseas treatment and travel, and other critical support services.

"The golfers are always keen to give back, and the Committee of 25's work resonates deeply with our group," Holloway said. "Knowing that these funds will directly support families in real and practical ways makes this effort especially worthwhile."
