Dunkin' Awards $100K to 20 Philadelphia Area Students

Dunkin' just made college more affordable for 20 Greater Philadelphia students who are about to receive $5,000 each to chase their academic dreams.

The coffee chain's 17th annual Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program opens today, offering a total of $100,000 to high school seniors and current college students across southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and parts of Delaware. Winners can use the money at any accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school starting this fall.

"Dunkin' franchisees across the Greater Philadelphia area have been proud to invest in the future of our communities," said Jackie Keown, Field Marketing Director for Dunkin'. The program looks beyond just grades, rewarding students who show leadership skills and give back to their communities.

The application window stays open through April 15, 2026. Students must live in the Greater Philadelphia region to qualify, and they'll be judged on their academic records, leadership abilities, and commitment to serving others.

Since launching in 2009, this scholarship program has quietly changed lives across the Philadelphia area. Dunkin' has now awarded $900,000 to 380 students, helping them avoid crushing student debt while pursuing careers that will benefit their communities.

The program works with Scholarship America, a nonprofit that has distributed $6 billion to more than 3.5 million students since 1958. Together, they're proving that local businesses can make real differences in education access.

For families watching college costs climb year after year, a $5,000 scholarship covers textbooks, housing deposits, or an entire semester at community college. That's money that doesn't need to come from loans or extra jobs that cut into study time.
