The sideways expansion solves a problem that has bugged camper owners for decades. Traditional pop-tops force you to lift the bed up and down every time you want standing room, but Freescape's design keeps the sleeping area suspended over the side of the van like a permanent balcony.

The bed up top measures a roomy 79 by 55 inches, wider than Ford's own factory camper option. Down below, two standard seats fold flat to create a second double bed, bringing total sleeping capacity to four people without compromising daytime functionality.
