Fort Fisher Beach Cleanup Unites Community on World Ocean Day

The community beach cleanup happens Monday, June 8, from 8 to 10 a.m. at Fort Fisher. Even though the aquarium itself is closed for a multiyear renovation and expansion, staff wanted to keep their conservation mission alive through hands-on community events.
