India and Indonesia Launch New Textile Trade Partnership

India's textile machinery sector just took a major step toward expanding its global footprint with its first-ever business delegation to Indonesia.

The India ITME Society led 23 delegates representing 18 companies on a four-day mission to Indonesia's textile heartland. The group traveled to Bandung and Jakarta, two of Southeast Asia's most important textile manufacturing hubs, to meet with Indonesian industry leaders and government officials.

This wasn't just a friendly handshake tour. The delegation covered critical textile sectors including spinning, weaving, and processing, meeting directly with Indonesia's Ministry of Industry to discuss concrete trade opportunities and technology partnerships.

Indonesia's textile industry has been searching for reliable technology partners to modernize its manufacturing capabilities. Indian companies arrived ready to fill that gap, showcasing their engineering expertise and competitive machinery solutions.
