Kentucky Farm Bureau Awards $810K in Student Scholarships

Over 600 Kentucky students received scholarship checks totaling more than $810,000 last year, and now the Kentucky Farm Bureau wants to help even more young people afford college.

The organization is accepting applications through February 28 for high school seniors across the state. With more than 50 scholarship categories available, students can use the funds for tuition, housing, books, or other educational expenses at any college, university, or trade school they choose.

To qualify, applicants must be children of Kentucky Farm Bureau members and graduating high school this year. Some scholarships are also open to nontraditional students returning to school.

The program represents a partnership between the Kentucky Farm Bureau Education Foundation and county Farm Bureaus across the state. Payments go directly to the school, ensuring the money reaches students who need it most.
