Lafayette Tea Honors Cancer Survivors with Music & Butterflies

Cancer survivors across Lafayette will gather for a special afternoon that celebrates their courage and creates space for healing connections.

The Good Samaritan Project hosts its 6th Annual Cancer Survivor Tea on June 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette. This year's theme, "Wicked for Good," honors survivors while bringing together caregivers, healthcare professionals, and community supporters for an afternoon of hope.

The event offers more than just celebration. Survivors will enjoy live music, a meaningful butterfly release, tea and lunch, and gifts designed to honor their journeys.

One survivor will receive special recognition as Cancer Survivor of the Year, nominated by community members who've witnessed their strength and resilience. The award highlights not just survival, but the inspiring ways people turn their hardest experiences into sources of light for others.
