NY Civic Group Offers $3K Scholarship for Young Helpers

The Greater Jamesport Civic Association is putting money where it matters most: rewarding young people who make their communities stronger.

To mark America's 250th anniversary, the civic group launched a scholarship worth up to $3,000 for local high school seniors who've dedicated time to helping others. The award goes to graduating students heading to college, trade school, or vocational programs.
