Saudi Arabia Sends $150M in Fuel to Power Yemen Homes

Millions of Yemenis will have more reliable electricity thanks to a $150 million fuel delivery from Saudi Arabia that arrived just as summer temperatures start to climb.

The support package provides diesel and fuel oil specifically designed to keep power plants running across all of Yemen's governorates. Saudi Arabia channeled the aid through its Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen, focusing on stabilizing the country's struggling electricity grid.
