Uzbekistan Hits 2.5 GW of Rooftop Solar in 3 Years

Over 300,000 households across Uzbekistan are now solar-powered, turning rooftops into mini power stations that brighten entire neighborhoods.

Since launching its Solar House program in April 2023, the country has installed 2,508 megawatts of residential solar capacity. That's enough clean energy to power roughly 2 million homes, all from panels mounted on houses and apartments.
