Roanoke College announced the Southwest Virginia Scholars Award, a guaranteed four-year scholarship that automatically gives $5,000 annually to incoming first-year students from 24 counties and eight cities across the region. The award covers students from Botetourt County all the way to Virginia's southwestern tip.
