Mizoram Signs Peace Deal, Ending 40 Years of Insurgency
India's Mizoram state will sign a historic peace agreement on April 14 with its last remaining militant group, bringing complete peace to the region after four decades of conflict. Forty-three former insurgents will transition to civilian life as the agreement closes a chapter that began in the mid-1980s.
