A scientist who discovered how to turn palm oil into biodiesel 45 years ago is finally seeing his country embrace the clean fuel more boldly. Starting June 1, Malaysia will boost its biodiesel blend to 15%, moving closer to energy independence while cutting fossil fuel costs.
