Alabama Students Honor Power Linemen as Community Heroes
Nearly 150 fifth graders in Barbour County chose Alabama Power linemen as their local heroes after studying "What is a Hero?" for 10 weeks. The students recognized the workers as essential first responders who risk their lives to restore power during severe weather.
