Hong Kong's First Astronaut Heads to Space on May 24
Lai Ka-ying, Hong Kong's first astronaut, is set to launch aboard China's Shenzhou-23 spacecraft tonight at 11:08 pm Beijing time. After more than a year of rigorous training in Beijing, the Hong Kong-born payload specialist will join her crew in writing a new chapter for the region's space exploration.
